Biking 10 Miles on the Chester Valley Trail

This Labor Day weekend my dad and I rode 10 miles along the Chester Valley Trail. It was a great exercise. We went through a long forest and saw lots of pretty birds and rabbits. Along the way we passed a few parks and saw people playing soccer.

We rode through meadows with grass taller than me! My favorite part was going through the tunnels and over the bridges. We even went over an old train trestle! At one part we had to go slow because it was a narrow area where the trail was under construction. One part was really cool because it was an actual Revolutionary War path that the soldiers marched on!

I hope to ride my bike on even more Rails to Trails. The Rails to Trails are abandoned railroad tracks that they have made into bike trails. I love trains and I love riding my bike so I think these type trails are perfect. Sometimes I even pretend I'm a train on an actual track.

On the train trestle!
At the end of the trail I was so excited that I didn't even feel tired. But by the time I got home I started getting really tired. I took a bath, ate a big dinner, and went straight to bed.

The whole trip was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again!
